Deep ruby in colour with a medium-bodied structure, with aromas of black currant, dried herbs and a hint of oak. On the palate, the wine is filled with flavors of ripe red fruit, hints of black pepper and tobacco. The tannins are well integrated and the finish is long and lingering. This wine pairs well with a beef and mushroom ragu, or a juicy steak with roasted vegetables.
