Gabbiano 2016 Chianti Classico Riserva
Tuscany, Italy
After malolactic fermentation and 12 months in oak, the 2016 reflects what was a very good year in Tuscany. Aromas of black cherry and plum lead to an earthy and subdued cherry taste. Made from 95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot, this wine represents good value for the price. Decant it for a least an hour before serving with grilled meats, pizza, spaghetti bolognese.
