Gneiss Wines 2021 Pinot Noir
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada
The winery takes its name from the rocky, infertile soil found in the vineyard, which is suited to growing grapes. This Pinot Noir was fermented in oak for 18 months, has a light garnet red colour, aromas of herbs and spice, and flavours of dark cherry and earth. It is delicate and balanced with soft tannins and nice acidity. Drink it next year with charcuterie, stuffed mushrooms, chicken, pork, pizza.
