M. Chapoutier 2019 Les Meysonniers Crozes-Hermitage

The vines of Crozes-Hermitage are 20 to 40 years old and farmed organically. Grown in clay and sand, they are lighter than those of Hermitage next door which are grown in granite soil. A medium-bodied, quality Syrah with flavours of blackberry, plum, spice, vanilla, earth. Enjoy it with veal chops, roast pork, wild boar, poultry.
