Situated at the North end of the Santa Lucia Highlands, exposed to the Pacific Ocean, the grapes experience consistent morning fog, sunshine and afternoon winds which result in a longer growing season and intensely flavoured grapes. Charlie Wagner, whose grandfather co-founded Caymus Vineyards, is the owner and winemaker. Dry, creamy, earthy, oak, apples. Aged in oak for 11 months with partial malolactic fermentation.
