Tenunta Sette Ponti 2019 Crognolo

Tuscany, Italy

A blend of mostly Sangiovese with a little Merlot, this wine has a deep ruby colour and a nose of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, violets and spices. Full-bodied and smooth with flavours of dark fruit, vanilla and licorice. The finish is long and persistent with a slight hint of oak. It will improve through 2029.
